I am gathering the names of the medical staff who worked at MTS. I’ve collected a few accounts, and those are listed below. In other cases I just have a name and no further information, so if you know of someone who worked at the MTS and can provide some background information, please contact me.

This article was written by Dr. Gilberto Gonzalez was a resident in 1960 and served one year at MTS. His account of his experiences was originally published on my other blog. He was an early supporter of my research into MTS. I greatly appreciate his contribution.
Do you know where I can find the Medical Records for MTS. My Wife’s Grandfather Felix Schabhuettl was a patient from 1923 to 1931 until he died their in November 1931.
Any help would be appreciated.

I’m sorry I don’t know. MTS was run by the City of Chicago. You could try their Department of Health, but because the facility was closed in 1974, long before the Internet, I don’t imagine they have computerized files for patient records. It’s quite possible they no longer exist, but I don’t know that for a fact.
